Drinks: Alabama Slammer
It as been a while since I posted something about alcohol but I finally tried something new. The Alabama Slammer.
It a great shooter with a real Southern Kick. Small, But perfectly proportioned.
This is how you make it:
INGREDIENTS
- 1 measure of Southern Comfort
- 1 measure of amaretto
- 1 measure of sloe gin
- 1/2 teaspoon of lemon juice
Now pour the Southern Comfort, amaretto, and sloe gin over cracked ice in a mixing glass and stir. Strain into a shot glass and add the lemon juice. Cover with your hand and slam on the table.
All there is left to do is enjoy!
Hugh Jackman and Daniel Craig sell out on Broadway
Wolverine and James Bond were staring on Broadway this week and they sold every ticket available. That’s right. Hugh Jackman and Daniel Craig on the same stage. They’ve drawn record ticket sales for their play “A Steady Rain,” but it drew mixed reviews on Wednesday after opening night.
USA Today raved that the two actors put in “stellar turns,” but The New York Times’ verdict was “Big names, little show.”
Taking in $1.17 million in the week ending September 20, the play broke the record of the highest weekly box office gross for a non-musical production said the producers. In this time of recession, Craig and Jackman are among the big name stars producers hope will boost sales on Broadway.

Top 10: Wingman Approach Techniques
There are times and situations where doing thing on your own wont get you very far. That’s when a good wingman comes in handy.
What is a wingman: Wingman is a role that a person may take when a friend needs support with approaching the opposite sex. A wingman is someone that is one the “inside” and is used to help someone with relationships.
The Wikipedia explanation: A pair of men often pick a desired woman, who is referred to as the “target”. The man intending to seduce the target is often called the “Pilot”. The “Wingman” is expected to back up the pilot, which typically entails distracting (distraction may take form of causal conversation, physical threats, or make out session/s) the target’s aesthetically challenged friend(s) and making comments that will make the “Pilot” seem more attractive. A group member of the “targets” party who disapproves of the “Pilot’s” advances (commonly referred to as cockblocker)may also be prevented from interfering while socially and/or physically interacting with the wingman.
The “Wingman” also motivates the “Pilot” to be social and practice approaching women. He helps the pilot approach pairs or groups of women without the awkwardness of being alone. He will take the less attractive woman of a pair or group so that the pilot can engage in conversation with the more attractive woman without interruption. The target may feel more relaxed talking to the pilot while her social obligation of entertaining her friend/s is taken care of by the “Wingman”.
There are certain situations (ie.emergencies) where the “Pilot” will approach targets with his “AW”, commonly referred to as Automatic Wingman. The AW has the most experience in playing the role of wingman. Other responsibilities include remembering details (i.e. target’s names aka “the bogey” and personal information) as well as compensating for intoxication in the judgment of the pilot.

16 Months For Driving Your Rolls-Royce Through A Store
Depression and 2 bottles of whiskey can make any man do crazy things. A man named Robert Caton completely lost it and decided to drive his restored 1983 Rolls-Royce through the front window of a Tesco store. No one was killed but after £21,000 worth of damage, costing the store another £41,000 in lost sales and creating general mayhem, Caton was sentenced to 16 months in jail and another 3-month concurrent sentence for failing to take a breath test. He also had to give up his driver’s license for five years and the Rolls for good.
I would like to say anybody breaks if the stress is enough. I broke. I gladly offer my sincere apologies to all affected by my reckless and irresponsible behaviour.
