The Men Who Stare At Goats Trailer
In this quirky dark comedy inspired by a real life story you will hardly believe is actually true, astonishing revelations about a top-secret wing of the U.S. military come to light when a reporter encounters an enigmatic Special Forces operator on a mind-boggling mission. Reporter Bob Wilton (Ewan McGregor) is in search of his next big story when he encounters Lyn Cassady (Academy Award®winner George Clooney), a shadowy figure who claims to be part of an experimental U.S. military unit. According to Cassady, the New Earth Army is changing the way wars are fought. A legion of Warrior Monks with unparalleled psychic powers can read the enemys thoughts, pass through solid walls, and even kill a goat simply by staring at it. Now, the programs founder, Bill Django (Oscar® nominee Jeff Bridges), has gone missing and Cassadys mission is to find him. Intrigued by his new acquaintances far-fetched stories, Bob impulsively decides to accompany him on the search. When the pair tracks Django to a clandestine training camp run by renegade psychic Larry Hooper (two-time Oscar® winner Kevin Spacey), the reporter is trapped in the middle of a grudge match between the forces of Djangos New Earth Army and Hoopers personal militia of super soldiers. In order to survive this wild adventure, Bob will have to outwit an enemy he never thought possible. The Men Who Stare at Goats was inspired by Jon Ronsons non-fiction bestseller of the same name, an eye-opening and often hilarious exploration of the governments attempts to harness paranormal abilities to combat its enemies.

Shaggy Is In The House!
Shaggy!…Shaggy!…Shaggy!…Shaggy!…Shaggy!…
That’s what people were screaming last night on LeBreton Flats right before the king of reggae got on stage. The crowd went even crazier as Shaggy climbed the stairs walking towards the them.
It was a perfect night for the event with no rain in sight and a cool breeze. As the evening wore, more and more people filled Lebreton Flats and the atmosphere was just right for a great show. The musicians performing before Shaggy, Loudlove and Pressure, really pumped up the audience for the big event with some rocking beats and even more reggae love.
About half way in to Shaggy’s show there were still some issues on the technical side and you could see that Shaggy himself was truly irritated by the situation. Even after sending heads up signals to the tech crew on site something was not going right. In fact, the volume of the back vocal singers microphones were too low and we couldn’t hear them. But once the issue was solved everything was perfect and the man delivered an amazing performance.
Overall it was a great closing night for the Ottawa Reggae Festival and we are looking forward to next years edition.

Britney Spears Resurrected

Britney Spears is finally back on top with her new single “Radar”. It’s a good thing since we’re all bored of Michael Jackson.
At last she managed to create a decent video that won’t be needing a advisory before airing.
